Abdul Furqan, a bright student from Hathnoora village in Sangareddy District, Telangana, has brought immense pride to India by participating in the prestigious NASA International Space Development Conference (ISDC) 2023, held in Dallas, USA.
A 9th-class student from the 2023 batch of Sri Chaitanya Techno School, Kompally, Abdul Furqan was officially invited to present his innovative space project titled ELYSIUM . His outstanding work earned him a special award and certification, making him the youngest Indian to receive such recognition at the global event.
Despite the lack of sponsors, his father, Abdul Waheed, went above and beyond by spending lakhs of rupees to ensure his son could attend and receive the honor. Abdul Waheed now earnestly appeals to the Government of Telangana and the Government of India to recognize his son’s talent and provide financial aid to support his future endeavors in science and innovation.
Abdul Furqan’s achievement is a testament to the hidden scientific talent in rural India. With proper support, he has the potential to contribute to space science and make groundbreaking discoveries.
