Noida Lamborghini Crash Case: The first information report (FIR) filed by the Noida Police includes the name of the driver of the Lamborghini that collided with two individuals in Noida. The driver’s name was previously omitted from the FIR filed in relation to the Lamborghini collision in Noida.
YouTuber Mridul Tiwari owns the Lamborghini Huracan that was involved in the Noida Sector 94 collision, but Deepak Kumar, an automobile dealer from Ajmir, was the driver. Deepak’s name has now been added to the FIR by the Noida Police.
According to the police, the complainant had no idea who the driver was or where he lived. Shortly after the collision, Deepak was taken into custody. However, the driver’s residence and name were listed as “unknown” in the FIR.
Police from Sector 126 station arrested Deepak and filed a formal complaint (FIR) under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) sections 281 (rash driving) and 125(a) (causing hurt by an act threatening life or personal safety of others). Additionally, the car was seized.
Noida Lamborghini crash case
The Lamborghini Huracan was put up for sale by YouTuber Mridul Tiwari, who reportedly owns the vehicle. A Times of India story claims that Mridul Tiwari lives in Sector 94 at Supernova.
Deepak was test driving the vehicle.
According to the police, Deepak had traveled to Noida to assess the Lamborghini registered in Mridul’s name.
According to reports, the Lamborghini Huracan swerved off the road and crashed into workers seated on a pavement close to an under-construction building at 5 p.m., while Deepak was driving back in the vehicle following a day of test driving.
On social media, a video of the incident went viral. The footage depicted Deepak fighting with onlookers. A passerby inquired as to if Deepak was rehearsing stunts.
“Is anyone dead?” was Deepak’s response in the 51-second video.
Since then, his statement has caused indignation, with many people questioning the lenient stance toward careless driving.
Why was there a delay in including the name of driver?
The Noida Police explained that when the FIR was first submitted after the Lamborghini incident, the complainant did not know the driver’s identity or residence, according to an NDTV report. This raised concerns about why, despite being arrested, Deepak—the only person in the car at the time of the collision—was not listed in the FIR.
The name was later discovered during the research and added appropriately. Deepak, the driver/accused, has been taken into custody. According to the police statement cited in the story, “the vehicle has been placed under police custody, and legal action has been taken in accordance with the rules.”
