A partial solar eclipse will be the year’s first surya grahan.

Here is all the information you require regarding the 2025 solar eclipse, also known as the Surya Grahan.

Surya Grahan 2025 date and time

On Saturday, March 29, skywatchers will be treated to the first solar eclipse of 2025, also known as Surya Grahan.

At 4:50 am EDT (2:20 PM IST), the surya grahan will begin, and it will peak at 6:47 am EDT. Around 8:43 am EDT, the solar eclipse will come to an end.

How to watch Surya Grahan 2025?

Enthusiasts can observe Surya Grahan or the partial solar eclipse from a suitable viewing location, ideally one that is unobstructed and unrestricted.

It is important to keep in mind that a solar eclipse can harm eyes, so it should never be watched with the unaided eye. The Surya Grahan 2025 must be viewed with protective eyewear.

Indirect methods of viewing the solar eclipse include creating a pinhole projector out of common household items.
