A landmark cultural-educational event took place at the Defence Auditorium, New Delhi, where the Bhartiya Shiksha Board (BSB) unveiled six path-breaking books authored by Wing Commander (Dr.) Pushkal Vijay Dwivedi (Retd.), Director General of the Bhartiya Shiksha Anusandhan Parishad (BSAP). The launch marked another milestone in India’s growing effort to blend technology, tradition, and moral education under the framework of the National Education Policy (NEP 2020).
The ceremony drew an impressive audience of academicians, retired armed-forces officers, journalists, educationists, researchers, and social reformers. Addressing the gathering, Wing Commander (Dr.) Pushkal Vijay Dwivedi (Retd.) said:
“Our aim is to make high-quality and complex educational wisdom simple, affordable, and accessible to every Indian learner—particularly those in villages and small towns. The Bhartiya Shiksha Board is not merely publishing books; it is creating an intellectual movement to reconnect education with Indian civilization values. True learning should not only sharpen intelligence but also build character, courage, and compassion.”
He explained that these books embody the triad of technology, ethics, and patriotism, showing how modern disciplines like Artificial Intelligence or Self Defence Science can be taught through India’s philosophical lens. Each title draws from real-life experiences, military discipline, and shastric wisdom, encouraging young readers to balance physical fitness, mental clarity, and moral integrity.
Dr. Dwivedi further highlighted that both BSAP and the Bhartiya Shiksha Board have gained international attention over the past year after successfully introducing a new academic subject – “Self Defence Science” – under the Central Government’s national school education board. This pioneering step, he noted, “places India among the few nations developing indigenous defence-oriented curricula for schools.” The initiative has already sparked academic dialogues across universities in Europe and Asia concerning the integration of national security awareness into foundational education.
Statement by BSAP Director Mr. Gaurav Pandey
Adding to the occasion, Mr. Gaurav Pandey, Director of the Bhartiya Shiksha Anusandhan Parishad, emphasized that the new books represent a broader national vision:

Wing Commander (Dr.) Pushkal Vijay Dwivedi is a distinguished officer of the Indian Air Force, strategic thinker, defence researcher, journalist, and nationalist educationist. Born in Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh, his early ideological grounding came from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Arya Samaj, and India’s timeless Vedic tradition.
He earned degrees in Political Science, Philosophy, and Ancient Indian History from Lucknow University, followed by postgraduate specialization in Police Management and Philosophy. He has since undertaken advanced studies at IIM Ahmedabad, ISB Hyderabad, IIT Mumbai, and the University of California.
A Special Operations Combat Instructor, Dr. Dwivedi has served in sensitive zones across Assam, Kashmir, Punjab, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Bengal, and Arunachal Pradesh. He played a pivotal role in thwarting the terrorist attack on the Srinagar Airbase and was among the elite officers who were in command and control of the Balakot operation. His service record reflects deep expertise in intelligence, special missions, and defence administration.
As a researcher, he is the creator of the Primitive AI Model, the Vijay Code Cipher System, and the Prizm Psychoanalysis Mechanism. He is also the founder of the academic subject “Self Defence Science,” which combines martial training, neuroscience, and ethical philosophy for holistic education. Through his defence R&D enterprises, Dr. Dwivedi collaborates with the DRDO and the Ministry of Defence on joint space and quantum-defence projects.
Parallel to his defence work, he has been an active journalist and currently serves as Executive Editor for three national news channels. His analytical precision has earned him the reputation of being “India’s most accurate defence analyst,” and his leadership of the Kalki Sena has been recognized in the London Book of Records for record-setting national campaigns.
