Users have been using ChatGPT to create Studio Ghibli-style pictures from their favorite photos ever since it received the most recent upgrade. From DDLJ to K3G, some of Bollywood’s most iconic scenes have now been Ghibli-fied.
There are probably a ton of Studio Ghibli-style animations in your social media feed if you have been scrolling through it recently. Are you wondering why? You are not by yourself. The Internet has gone crazy about ChatGPT’s most recent upgrade, which allows users to create Ghibli-inspired images.
In addition to taking over private images, this viral fad has reinvented some of Bollywood’s most iconic scenes. Classic movies like Hera Pheri (2000), Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), Sholay (1975), and Baahubali (2015) have all been turned into surreal, hand-drawn animations that resemble Hayao Miyazaki productions.
Vivek Choudhary, an X user, published AI-generated pictures of Bollywood classics reinterpreted in a setting inspired by Ghibli, one of the most talked-about uploads. The Hera Pheri trio—Raju, Baburao, and Shyam—reimagined as cute, Totoro-like figures captivated fans. In the meantime, a famous scene from Baahubali is replete with gorgeous scenery and delicate, enchanted colors. Naturally, the well-known DDLJ train scenario has now been transformed into a work of pure fantasy.
AI-generated Ghibli-style recreations of Om Shanti Om, Rockstar, Pushpa, and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham were featured in another widely shared post by Ishika, adding to the allure of these well-loved Bollywood scenes.
