Will PM Modi soon retire? “When the father is alive,” argues Devendra Fadnavis in a forceful response.

In response to rumors that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would soon be “retiring,” Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis offered a firm rebuttal on Monday. The comments were made shortly after Sanjay Raut, the leader of the Shiv Sena (UBT), implied that the PM had spent the weekend at the RSS headquarters in Nagpur announcing his retirement.

“Looking for his replacement is not necessary. Our leader, Modi, is here to stay. It is considered improper in our society to discuss succession when the father is still living. Mughal culture is that. “Now is not the time to talk about it,” Fadnavis stated.

As Modi approaches the age of 75, opposition leaders have frequently raised his “future” as prime minister in recent months. Party leaders over this age are generally not considered for ministerial positions, according to an unspoken “rule” of the BJP.However, Fadnavis maintained that no such replacement plan was in existence at the time. He added that in 2029, Modi would take over as India’s prime minister once more.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the RSS headquarters on Sunday for the first time since taking over as leader. His visit was described by Sangh members as “very important and historic.”The Prime Minister honored Hedgewar at Smruti Mandir, the organization’s administrative headquarters, to kick off his visit.Prominent party leaders such as Fadnavis, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, and RSS President Mohan Bhagwat accompanied him.

“The RSS will choose who will succeed Modi, and it will be from Maharashtra. At a news conference shortly after the meeting, Raut informed reporters that PM Modi had been to the RSS headquarters to talk about his retirement plans.

Following the meeting at RSS headquarters, PM Modi also attended a roadshow in Nagpur, where he was met by sizable crowds lining the streets. He also inaugurated the Loitering Munition Test Range at the Solar Defence and Aerospace Limited facility.
